Just curious, as a SD'er without kids. Who spends that much money for something like this for kids? Again, not a parent - but it seems like they're just going to either 1) swallow pieces of it, 2) get it stuck up their nose, and/or 3) just lose pieces of it.
Just curious what ages these Lego sets are marketed towards... |

Most parents don't realize if they spent 100 dollars on a bucket of random lego pieces, they'd get like 10x as many pieces and their child's imagination would create so many more things than these "sets".(You know how you buy toddlers those bags of large-sized legos? They have those for older kids too). Some of these 100+ dollar sets are very cool looking, but boredom will set in and MOST kids will tear the set down and start building other things(but they only have 1/10th as many legos!). |
