Well, I should say that ideally I'd have an intake of 400g. I've been slipping on the diet recently.

If I were adhering strictly to a diet, I'd be at 400g protein (1600 calories), 73g fat (660 calories), and 260g carbs (1040 calories). That's a 40/20/40 cutting diet.

I love eating steak, but 60 oz/day! That's crazy! I'd never be able to eat that much. Not to mention that's what, 250-300g of fat? I guess on a Paleo/Primal diet someone could pull that off, but I like other food too much.

60 oz of grassfed beef steak will also cost many times more than that the equivalent macros of protein powder. It also takes longer to prepare and eat. If you plenty of free time and money though, then that's a great way to go.

Note: I'm certainly not advising that people get all of their protein from powder sources. However, avoiding powders as though they're inherently evil because they're not "real" food is absurd, and the weight of the scientific evidence supports no such conclusion.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with protein powder, I was just saying.

Steak tastes better though . I bought a whole beef recently and having been eating pounds of that thing a day... Tasty...

I don't if it is scientifically proven or not, but in my experience, drinking one scoop prior to workout versus not drinking makes a big difference in terms how quickly I get tired during my workout. So whey does work for me at least.

Id like to see what you look like with 400 grams of protein daily. How much do you weigh? and How tall are you?

Who the hell would take 400g of protein? The optimal amount of protein is a gram per body weight. Even if you take 1.5g per lb that's still 300g if you weigh 200. Not to mention that's what 1800 calories + whatever else food you eat which means more than 3000 calories.

Sounds like some brotein advice.

If you guys ever have a chance or have tried the optimum nutrition hydro builder vanilla bean it's amazing taste exactly like a fattening vanilla milk shake but I know the optimum nutrition normal vanilla doesn't smell good and doesn't taste good either.

I made it today (with milk so that may make a difference) and it was really good, not sure why you thought the vanilla was so bad.

I just finished a 5lbs tub of the vanilla. It wasn't bad at all mixed with water. It was pretty good mixed with milk. Easy to drink.
