realizing less net profit = writing as much stuff off as an "expense" even when it really wasnt. This is why you see a shitload of business owners with nice car leases as "expenses", they get to write the whole thing off, which = less profit they have to actually pay a tax on.

Every business owner has the prerogative to risk more capital in their business, or take it out as income. Some owners have a line they don't want to go below. I myself have one these days. If I didn't hit that target, I'd cut costs until I did. If I still didn't, I'd pack it in. My work, stress, and risk, has a value that I'm not willing to take less for.

While you may eschew the "1% lifestyle", (or haven't been able to earn one), some folks start and run businesses just so they can obtain that. In the process, many, like myself, obtain 10 and 20% lifestyles for employees that have never had them before.

The tax increases you and other liberals have been clamoring for, will not be paid for completely by those you wish to punish. I'll certainly be looking for ways to pass it on.

Bring back the stock market and housing bubble, and get the economy going full bore, and yes, there would probably be less complaining.

Increasing taxes isn't going to get us there.

hahaha, i love how literal you take the small business definition... what exactly falls under a big business? you realize someone who has $800,000 in profit is likely dealing with tens in million of revenue at least? Maybe even a hundred million in revenue?

In reality its just more fundamental misunderstanding of the subject, youre willing to classify EVERYTHING a small business as long as they are not incorporated and then you point to the word "Small" as if it means a damn thing.
