Just as Slickdeals gets a % or a pay-per-click when you hit a link and then go and complete a purchase at that merchant. I know Discover pays out the quarterly bonuses, and Shop Discover is separate.... but the two systems are linked. I hope everyone gets their "doubled up" cashback... but I wouldn't be surprised if sometimes people get screwed over on this. I've had to call Discover way too many times for missing cashback on Shop Discover click-thrus. I can only imagine having to itemize which items qualified for 5% Online Purchases + Shop Discover Offers... across multiple statements (especially since the quarterly bonus is a lump-sum on each statement). |

However, if that's all you need, it's not a big deal to get them for $5 [newegg.com] to $7 [newegg.com] or fork out the big bucks ($13) for a dual 2.5" drive bracket [newegg.com]. That is if you don't need the software that comes with the desktop kit - which I personally don't. |

http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/3...-benchmark Samsung, Intel, Crucial, Plextor are reportedly know for their reliability. I have a new laptop for which I want one of these but then there is the issue of Win 7 pro vs Win 8 pro. So getting a cheap one to test on which can later go into my older molasses laptop and then getting a newer one for the newer laptop does seem feasible at these prices and will also allow or further price drops.
I am having the babies that I want or none at all! Bet YOUR life on it!

Is this something that can be installed into a desktop PC? I might want to combine it with my HDD putting apps on the SSD and data on the HDD. Is that possible with this? Any special cords needed?
