Went to the mall to go to the Apple store to exchange the DOA cube I received. Walked down to the Sprint store, didn't see any signage about this deal, so I asked the clerk (who was helping a somewhat elderly customer buying an iPhone) and he sold me the two cables, 20% off, no questions asked (except if I wanted it in a bag).

If the iPhone 5 came with a proprietary headphone jack so that you couldn't use your own headphones without buying a $30 adapter, you'd be pretty ticked, right?
Or would you be fine with it as long as Apple said it could fit both ways and transferred sound better?

Went into my local Sprint store, found none in stock, CSR ordered a pair shipped to my home w/ free shipping and 20% off. I am not with Sprint.

I went to the Sprint store. Everything went fine until the guy asked for my cell phone number. I was caught off guard because he didn't ask any questions beforehand and scanned the products already. It rang up full price after I told him I wasn't a Sprint user. Bummer.
I live nearby so I'll just go and try again but you should be prepared. I could have dug through my contacts and found one of my Sprint buddies numbers but I wasn't thinking slick at the moment. |
