As far as I know, $900 is the lowest this kit has ever been. Yes, it has been $900 two other times in the past couple of month, but it does not make it a bad deal. This is the most camera+lens you can find at this price. Definitely a TU.

Mark II deal was three days ago @ $2100 AR, keeping lens but selling printer. 2.5x the cost with 'a' lens if you are just starting with DSLRs, Mark II is too much and this is a better deal. Plus this has the better 'reach' since it is a crop sensor, if you shoot long.

I got this comera few monthd ago and so far i liked. Some people are waiting for better deal for T4I but......look at customer reports and according to their site 60D is on first place before T4I

i like this over the t4i for the top lcd display alone, so much faster and easier to change your settings

You were probably thumbed down for non-replication at the $800 price. I am showing $899 also.

It's not a bad deal if this is the kit you want (and it's a pretty good one with this versatile lens). Canon sells this kit refurbished for 831.36 + tax (in every state I believe) when they have the 20% off sale a couple times a year. If you're in the market for this, and it is a great starter unit (or upgrade from a Rebel), I personally would pay the few extra dollars for new.

I don't think it is of enough value for the hassle to 'flip' though, as one comment was similarly made earlier. Is that all we do here though??

Definitely a great deal. You can't argue the fact it's over $200 cheaper than amazon's best price. dpreview says this is just a little better, but in almost every catagory, than the t4i.
