OK, so I'm a little freaked out by this and curled up into the fetal position. What kind of freakazoid would buy $100 in batteries? And if you're gaming this opportunity for profit, it's not a tree-hugger move to accuse you of killing the environment for the selfish benefit of chump change. Get real, folks.

Sams Club also carries Duracell Car batteries if anyone needs a car battery.

I would keep all receipts until rewards are posted and possibly paid out. You never know when there might be software glitch.

Can someone explain the Staples free batteries after rewards? Is it that you get an equivalent dollar amount in rewards to the dollar amount you spend on batteries? If so, then its technically not free.

this is a gamble, Staples has a limit of 2 per customer per promotion, unlike Officemax. So you buy 2 next week, and you bet that Staples will have at least 4 more promotions like this before the deadline. Of course it would be easier if you are buying more than just batteries.

Staples for the last few years has had the 100% back in rewards on 2 packs of batteries every week until the end of the year starting with BF. This is an HU thread as the promo runs 10/1-12/31. If you are buying batteries anyway from Staples you might as well start saving the receipts. It's slick as the heads up is out-in-front of what a lot of people do when Staples offers rewards on batteries. Many buy up to the max of 2 per week when in effect anyway. Might as well get an extra $25. If they don't do the every week starting with BF then really nothing lost. The batteries are 100% back in rewards. One can monetize the rewards at a later time with rebate products.

hi can u guys please explain, the 48 pack AA batteries is $15 at costco. even after 25 off its 75 dollars for something like 150 batteries... how is that slick.

at staples, 100 dollars / 13 per pack around = 8
8x16=148 batteries and then you get 100 dollars in rewards and 25 dollars back?

Limit is 2 for each week the promo runs. It should run again starting on BF for 2 every week until the end-of-the-year. I answered your first question when you posed this in the other thread.

Oh yeah. Thanks for posting. I really don't need batteries as I have a bunch stockpiled. BUT last year I found out about this promo too late and did not have enough time to buy $100 worth as I was not in need of more batteries. I may still not do $100 of batteries this year but I appreciate knowing about this offer up front. I may buy batteries anyway to keep the ones stocked fresh and give the older ones away.

Schools/firefighters will take your donations of batteries if you feel so inclined.
