There are some concerns about battery life on this device. Some people say it lasts for 2-3 hours on gaming mode, and with casual use up to 2-3 days. If you are not really a gamer, I have the Logitech Performance Mouse MX, which costs the same (when it's not on sale), and it's Logitech's "flagship" model. This has much better battery life, but it's better if you need it for casual use. Note: I'm a casual gamer, and sometimes play FPS like Tribes Ascend, and have found the Logitech Performance Mouse MX to be pretty good if you're not looking for anything fancy.
Other than that, if you want to get this moue for gaming, just get some Eneloop batteries, so you can just pop them in and if you want a little more life get an Eneloop XX if you want it to last a little more for the day. I would personally get the regular Eneloop 2nd gen (1500 mAh), and if you don't need to get 4 of them, you can get smaller packs of one or two on fleabay. Note: the mouse comes with an Eneloop battery (1500 mAH), and it has built in charging in it, so if you DON'T want to buy a charger, you can charge with the mouse.

Is the mouse any good? I have a MX Revolution I need to upgrade. Love the mouse, especially two scroll wheels but it ain't gonna last forever.

If for more office type stuff, you may want to double check but still a good mouse (the battery is way less due to high report rate, but it's a enloop AA and can charge over microUSB) and while in plugged into USB it can function as a wired mouse then. |
