Thanks for the heads up. Looking towards the bottom of the page, saw the "NETGEAR 24 Port Gigabit Smart Switch w/ 2 Combo ports - Lifetime Warranty (GS724T)" was $189 with no rebates needed.
The smart functions are worth the extra $30 I think. Even in a home environment, since you can just sign in to the web portal and turn off the network jack leading to your teen's bedroom  For a client I have in mind, we've been talking about switching them to a network based phone system, and also added a lot of networked security cameras. The smart functions can help with managing both. |
