Can a slickdealer whom is well versed in how these cards work please clear something up for me real quick? I would be eternally grateful.

Is the micro sdhc to sd adapter the same as a micro sdxc to sd adapter? Can I use a microsdxc card in a microsdhc/microsd to sd adapter? Are they all the same?

The Secure Digital eXtended Capacity (SDXC) format supports cards up to 2 TB (2048 GB), compared to a limit of 32 GB for SDHC cards in the SD 2.0 specification.

In a word yes BUT,

SDXC host devices accept all previous families of SD memory cards.[26] Conversely, SDHC host devices will accept SDXC cards that follow Version 3.0, since the interface is identical,[3] but the following issues may affect usability:
SDXC cards are pre-formatted with Microsoft's proprietary and patented exFAT file system, which the host device might not support. Since Microsoft does not publish the specifications of exFAT and its use requires a non-free license, many alternative or older operating systems do not support exFAT for technical or legal reasons. The use of exFAT on some SDXC cards may render SDXC unsuitable as a universal exchange medium, as an SDXC card that uses exFAT would not be usable in all host devices. Since the FAT32 file system supports volumes up to the SDXC's maximum theoretical capacity of 2 TB as well, a user could reformat an SDXC card to use FAT32 for greater portability between computers (see below). FAT32-formatted SDXC cards can be used in a host device built for SDHC if the host device can handle 64 GB and larger volumes.

I have a SGS3 and the 64GB microSDXC will not work in it unless it is formatted with FAT32.

Same here on the Galaxy S3. It auto formats to FAT32 as soon as you put it in your phone. I also have an Asus TF700T with the same. It's a complete non issue. There is very little difference between the two formats. You do want to use the adaptor that comes with this for file transfers and not an SDHC adaptor. It will work, though, I have seen formatting issues when trying to use an SDHC reader with this card that can only be fixed with a wipe and reformat of the sd card itself.

OK if I put this in my acer iconia a200 will I see 64gb?
The acer says it works with 32gb but so does my phone and the phone will take and use a 64gb.

Yes all the adapter does is adapt the pins of a micro card to a full size SD card. As far as using the card, you'll have to format it as FAT32 if your device doesn't support the exFAT file system used by SDXC. Windows doesn't like to format FAT32 partitions greater than 32GB even though it is in theory compatible up to 2TB, but you can usually get the device to format it. For example Android phones will format a 64GB card to FAT32. The biggest disadvantage of FAT32 is the fact that it has a 32bit limit on file sizes, meaning you can't have a file larger than 4GB. But the file system used isn't permanent, so you can format it FAT32 for now and in a few years when exFAT support is more universal you can format it back.

I don't know off-hand, but the big thing to check would probably be SDXC compatibility (as opposed to SDHC). I have seen a lot of device specs listing 32GB max but people saying they can take 64GB cards as long as they're SDXC-capable.
