On second thought... maybe your right. Everything will be much cheaper on BF. From Computers, TV's, hard drives etc... I think SD should just completely shut down until BF. Not sure why you even bothered visiting SD today - wait til BF |

Mitsubishi good. Delivery company bad.
BEWARE OF YOUR DELIVERY!In early September, I bought this from Dell. But the delivery people, Pilot Freight, managed to mix up their delivery times and dates twice. I wasted so much time waiting around for the delivery, that I at last had to tell them to pound sand. So if you are getting this from Pilot, beware. On the bright side, price has gone down and I can reorder for less. Whopee! |

Yes you can't hang DLP Televisions on the wall, but how many hang large size sets on the wall anyway? Most that I know put large sets on some sort of console - just like you'd put a DLP TV on - a sturdy console.
I've seen LCD, Plasma, and now LED sets, and sure some are clear and have no problems with ghosting, and burn in, but for some reason, I still prefer the clarity of a DLP set. Not sure why, perhaps the feeling of depth that a projection television provides. I've owned a Sony SXRD 60" DLP television that I purchased back in March 2007. Yes, I've owned it for about 5 1/2 years now, and all those years I haven't had one glitch. The only problem was that after three years the light bulb suddenly went out - no warning, it just flashed out one time we were watching it. However, it was an easy fix - a replacement bulb unit cost me $100, and was so easy to replace - I had to open the side light bulb door, disconnect the light bulb wires, pull out the old unit, push in the new one, hook up the wires, and close the door. And - wow, I had a brand new picture once again - it was perfect, like a brand new television set. And hey, if I have to replace that light unit every 2 to 3 years for a hundred dollars to get a new picture (instead of buying a new TV(, shoot, I'll do that any day. Right now Mitsubishi I think is the only manufacturer of DLP HDTVs - and when I upgrade to a larger set, with 3D, I plan on getting one. As long as it will fit on my Oak Console, probably a 70 - 75 inch, I'll be a happy camper. I'd bite on this TV, but you've all said it doesn't have 3D capabilities, so I'll pass. But please, just because a set is DLP, don't let that stop you. DLP is good - check out the picture in a Big screen store - I'm sure you'll be pleased with the quality. Korian |

I've had the Mitsubishi - WD-73640 for about a year now and yes, it has been flawless. No reboots, no technical problems, no lamp issues. I'd recommend Mitsubishi for anyone that wants a giant TV that won't break the bank. My only regret is getting the smallest one they offered at the time
