Don't hate on Transformers. They certainly aren't deep/story based movies but if you watch them just to enjoy the action, they are certainly enjoyable.

this (pre-order) set has been this price for about a week now (no im not talking about the bat cowl set either)....

I wonder when will the Extended Trilogy set ( Director cut, ...or something along these lines) will be released. I know the moment I buy this they will release a version with extra 60 minutes of "never before seen scenes". That happened with LOTR.

I was considering getting this but I realized how terrible the dark knight blu ray was so I'll wait until it hits $20 or so.

Watched lots of movies...many of them I wouldn't consider very good. Not a fan of any particular genre, just so long as the movie is good, I'll buy it...at a SD price, of course. Since the most recent Batman movies are what I consider to be merely "decent," I can't see paying more than a couple of bucks each just to have them around if a guest wants to watch them. Having seen them once, I don't anticipate ever having the desire to view them again. (I get most of my BDs for <$5 each, so that likely helps to clarify my price point on these films.)

To each their own.
