Beachfront rental in Oahu for wedding
Hello fellow slickdealers
My fiance and I are getting married in the next year or two, we have settled on doing it in hawaii and have decided on having the wedding in oahu( we figured flights to oahu would be cheapest for family and friends).
We are going to be renting a beachfront home and having the wedding either on the lawn or preferably on the beach (whichever looks best).
Just putting a feeler out their for any wisdom, recommedations on rental companies to work with or not to work with. Any leads on rental houses that are great for the money. You know, the kinda stuff a slickdealer would want to know about
Basically we are at our infancy stage of planning and saving money (we will be paying for this ourselves) with a max budget of 10,000$ and we are expecting around 20 people for the wedding. But they are not staying at the house with us, probably only both sets of parents and my brother will be staying at the rental. So proximity to honolulu might be nice for the others that will be getting hotels or whatever...
The max budget for the house will be around 1,000 per night ( we figured that will be the main expense). Not so worried about things like food or photography, anything like that as we will deal with that when the wedding becomes nearer.
Also, what is the best time of the year to pull this off with a tight budget?
Any recommendations, wisdom, knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for any responses...
-Matt
