I bought Wool after seeing this thread. I don't own, nor do I have any plans on getting a Kindle.

Currently this ebook resides on my PC and my Nexus tablet.

I've zero interest in any ecosystem; my interest lies in good deals.

I read the first 2 hunger games books and they were interesting but took quite a bit to capture my attention. After reading just one page, I found this book to be quite captivating. Looking forward to this read.

Ditto, the prequel isn't even done yet. There are 2 books left in the "prequel set" and only the second is partially written. So reading "out of order" won't really be of benefit.

Also agreed, not really a Hunger Games at all, much better IMHO this was actually a satisfying read.

Consider recycling ink at Office Depot. Buy a Kindle for about $80 (with coupon) then return $60 worth of ink. This is what I did and I really was not expecting to enjoy the Kindle as much as I do. I really like how the Kindle recommends other books. For instance, Wool was recommended to me after I finished Dog Stars (a great book btw), Dog Stars was recommended after reading The Passage (another great book btw). You get the point. I think you would like one.
