FYI - managed to get Linux running on my MK802+.

The issue ended up to be my TV/Monitor. Strange, since Android worked just fine, but none of the Linux distro would work on my TV.

Congrats! Yeah, I found that the MK802+ is very finicky about the resolutions it sends out. I have the opposite situation where my HDTV works but not on my monitor. Probably something to do with the HDMI to DVI adapter. My monitors only have DVI. Still waiting on adapter cables so I can tryout my lapdock.

No display at all. But just in case let me try anyways, where is the settings for yPbPr? Is this for Android or Linux?

it's in the monitor. not all monitors have it. I read about this somewhere for monitors with a dvi input and using hdmi-dvi converter.

i had this color issue with the stick with the stock android OS (never loaded linux).

Download the following, unzip it and replace the evb.bin file on your microSD card. Note that I only tested the 720p file. http://rikomagic.co.uk/forum/down...e.php?id=2 This will basically change the Linux/Ubuntu image to display at 60Hz versus 50Hz. The mods keep deleting the thread we all got scammed with. While I understand why they did, I don't agree with it. We all need to understand what's going to happen and stay in contact to mitigate the issue.
