People will buy anything at any price.
Agree with that. But for someone who wants only an iPhone without the hassles of C'list, this makes sense!

Was able to get it ordered by adding a line to my current account. Will call and cancel the service after it arrives.

Was going to purchase one the CL route, but with a 12 month warranty on this plus the additional 1 year from AMEX this is a no brainer for the price.

I really don't want a 5....bout ready to port my # to straight talk and save $40/mo

I talked to a rep online. He said if I cancel after receiving the phone then it should be 299+tax with no activation fee and monthly fees. You need to check out by choosing any plan and 299+tax will show in the cart. The activation fee and monthly fee would be charged in the first month bill, which you won't get since you would've already cancelled the plan before then. My order looks like this:

Only matters if it says refurbished on the receipt. Past ones have not. Haven't submitted claims before huh?

Based on your questions you should seriously consider doing your purchase at the store.

It can be unclocked,
but the shock of the unclock will defrock while you walk. I find that generally
a glock on a walk helps to decrease the shock.
some knock the stock. they say, to unclock on a walk: just a crock.
they balk at the stock and mock the unlock.
so i just rock the glock and maybe a sjambok.
haters may hate. i say
just activate
