Citi Price Rewind - get up to $250 back on purchase if price drops within 30 days - must use Citi card

Yes that's right - the Blue Card has a low price guarantee, and will match both internet and B&M stores if you send in the paperwork.

Also another thought on taking advantage of this offer on these cards - REBATES. Rebates aren't taken into account during the pricematching. So, for instance, if one retailer is selling a product for $250, and another one for $350 with a $50 rebate - you can buy the item from the $350 seller, pricematch it to $250, and still get the $50 rebate - making your total OOP $200.

Thanks for mentioning this. I hadn't considered that Citi might have better alternatives than my Driver's Edge and Dividend Cards which have have been set aside in favor of my Fidelity card. I'll look into these.

Citi has pretty good customer service. I am its 10 yr customer and I am loving it. Discover also has a pretty good services as well. Chase has very good fraud prevention internal system.

Rebate scenario applies to the AMEX as well?!

Now it clearly stated they only price match based on.....

• advertised for the same item by the same manufacturer in a Printed Advertisement
• non-auction Internet Advertisement
• validated lower price is provided from a price tracking entity authorized by Citi

The Internet Advertisements must have "valid tax identification number" on it .

And wonder what is this price tracking entity authorized by Citi....

I had used this benefit earlier this year...i was able to get $30 back on a canon camera i picked up at Target as the same camera was advertised for a lower price at Adorama few weeks later....worked like a charm...i got the check in mail within like 4-6 weeks i believe

3 weeks after i bought new phones, verizon dropped the price by $50 each. but they only price protect for two weeks. called citi, filled out some paperwork, and they mailed me a check for $100.

Right. The T&C says:

This Coverage does not apply to items advertised in or as a result of price comparisons based on merchant fliers, price lists, price quotes or bids from merchants, advertisements of "limited quantities", "out of stock" items, "going-out-business" sales, "cash only" sales, closeouts, price reductions due to manufacturer's coupons, "free" items or where the advertised price includes "bonus" or "free" offers, special financing, installation or rebate, or one of a kind or other limited offers and prices advertised 31 days after the original purchase by the Eligible Person.

So it definitely wouldn't apply to BF doorbusters. It might apply to sales that are more generally available.

I bought something from Adorama on Nov 1.. The same is $80 less now on Amazon.. But citi rewind is not tracking that price and says that I bought for the lowest price already.. Any suggestions on how to get a refund?
