This thing is AMAZING!!! you take a corn... that is ONE CORN and you break that corn into THREE (3) pieces and you put one piece on each shelf and twenty minutes later you have the best tasting corn on the cob that you have ever eaten!!!

It looks like the food is resting on stainless steel so hopefully it's ok. Ordered one. I used to steam almost everything I ate so this shoud be pretty cool. It'll get me back into the kitchen again, hopefully. Got tired of dealing with so many pots n pans. |

The label say's.... 100% SAFE PLASTIC MADE IN CHINA Look, Wolfgang Puck know's his shizzit and if he says China makes SAFE plastic that will not give you our your children Cancer... then I would trust him cause he has more money then G-d |

please googel... Eastman Chemical goes after Austin researcher who found that BPA-free plastics contain other hormone-altering chemicals. But ofcourse hormone altering chemicals in plastic are OK... just make sure there is no BPA!!! |

i definitely wish it wasnt made with plastic. That is kind of a downer.He could've used pyrex heat resistant type glass or something.

Don't like the "new OTHER" note. I see on Amazon they sell refurbished. Only thing about new is that they say it comes in the HSN box. No mention of how used, refurbished, etc. this is.

i bought this when it was $40..
Works great and can be awesome to give as a house warming gift for $30 haha. just make sure you clean the excess water that drips back down out of it..or it will leave a smell.. =P |
