Mine was basically the same but I also got the value of the coupon code in credit. $75.81 credit. This can be applied toward anything but I actually want the polarized glasses so I pulled the trigger. Total $84.82 out of pocket for the polarized model after they get my return of the non-polarized. Took me about an hour of wrangling to get it, so a so-so deal. However, since this was an obvious description/price mistake I think it is decent of amazon to not just cancel and fark me. Plus, I can literally just return the non-polarized and keep the $75 credit (not that I will). The CS person I ended up with said that the description changed before I actually placed the order (meaning I put it in my cart then the description changed). This is obviously wrong because I took the screencap after I got my order confirmation, but I've learned to take yes for an answer in life and am not going to argue with her. They are clearly doing this to prevent an angry customer, they still probably think I was confused about what I saw. Whatevs. |

After chatting with a very friendly Amazon rep, they were able to do a price adjustment for the polarized one to match the non-polarized one that I bought. Don't give up everyone, just be cordial and provide the fact that they changed the description of the product after you have placed the order. It's also best if you had a prior conversation about this issue before you received the shipment so they used it to look it up. The first rep mentioned that they will take care of the replacement if Amazon shipped the wrong one, in writing, so I had an extra ammo.

so after spending an hour chatting with the CS and was transfer to the "higher authority" the best they offered me was replacement of the non-polarized version or i can place an order of the polarized version and they can waive the shipping cost. how generous... i gave them a link to the screenshot of the page stating polarized, they just kept saying the link doesn't work. probably just to avoid giving me a price match
does this work for u guys? https://dl.dropbox.com/u/24692318...0Shoes.png |

Link works! Amazon is a scam sometimes too, otherwise they wouldn't be in business

Amazon's inconsistent policies are laughable. But I do have a perverse enjoyment in exposing them. Initially was offered $25 credit for future purchase. I then complained via e-mail. They then agreed to honor the original price for the polarized and gave me another $10 off. So polarized sunglasses came out to $79-25 = $54. not really worth my time, but not bad.

I got the CS rep to adjust the polarized version to the original price of $106.02 and gave me a credit for the coupon price difference.
I'm glad I had a chat with the CS rep before I purchased originally so they could pull up the chat log. So got them for what I was willing to pay and got a credit for future crap. ZZzzz. |

just got the polarized version adjusted to 89.8 with taxes. I am so happy. The rule with Amazon, don't give up, ask for a supervisor as they will try to offer a refund first. The supervisor, added the 20% coupon and the $50 dollars
Thanks again OP. fantastic deal and I am glad that I chatted with them.
