Apply Lightning Adapter

Hi All,

Looks like it'll be awhile before somebody is going to clone the Apple lightning adapters due to the chip and apple is a little bit low on inventory. Besides I'm too cheap to pay $30 for the adapter.

Therefore, does anybody sell the following for semi-cheap, a female standard USB-female apple 30pin cable?

It would work like this.... iPhone5 is connected via the lightning cable, the other side of the lightning cable connects to the cable that I mentioned and the other end of the cable I mentioned goes into the male 30 pin connection of the accessory

Here is what the connection would look like - the all caps item is what I would need
iphone 5 >> lighting cable - male usb >> FEMALE USB - FEMALE APPLE 30 PIN >> male apple 30 pin of accessory

I found the dockBoss+ but that is $30 and for that I would just get the adapter from Apple.

Doubt it, and not sure it will work on much, did't they say that the adapter wont do audio or video?

wrong about audio...

per Apple store:

This adapter lets you connect devices with a Lightning connector to many of your 30-pin accessories.* Support for analog audio output, USB audio, as well as syncing and charging. Video output not supported.
