I have a slightly smaller version of this kit (no deep sockets) and just wanted to point out that the included ratchet is inadequate.

Do yourself a favor and buy a larger 3/8 driver ratchet (and maybe a 3/8 to 1/4 converter since it only comes with 1/4 to 3/8). I have a pretty nice feeling one from the Ace Professional line, but I am sure you can pick up a good one at sears.

Trying to use that 5-inch long 1/4 drive ratchet with a 1/4-3/8 converter on a 18mm socket is kind of a sad joke. I don't know what the case looks like for this one, but my extra 3/8 ratchet fits right into the case of my craftsman set (and I use it probably 20x as much as I use the included ratchet).

This set comes with a 3/8" ratchet but not 1/4".

Just got the set. It is made in the US. Didn't expect that.

just got mine today from UPS, odd, mine was also made in USA (or most parts) but none of the tools was in the case, it was all in loose bags. and the case had NO labels.

looks like a bootleg craftsmans box set,
