$2.50 Domain Registration 1 Yr - Register.com

Guys register a domain for a year with register.com for $2.50. Normally $35.00 (according to their site obviously its a lot lower), but this is the cheapest I could find lately with namecheap and Godaddy. Not sure how long its good for. Its does not come with Domain Privacy for free though.

For those whom had Godaddy account for about a year or more, have you ever received an email asking you to confirm and edit if necessary your contact info? Is it an automatic email that goes out to every account or to specific accounts that might seem like a confirmation is need to make sure info is correct? I have several important domains registered in under 1 account, but have omitted # only of the address as well as a non-current phone #. I don't want future spams.

You can get a $2.00 domain at register.com pretty much all year round. Requiring creating new accounts, of course. Currently you can also get a domain at register.com for $0.99. Just go through Google to get it. Might have to refresh a few times. Apparently, Network Solutions also had $0.99 at some point, although they showed up as $2.95 now when click on the link.
