Are the "Smart" features in the Blu-Ray or in the TV? Does it matter? I am thinking of getting this but don't want to make a stupid decision. What about the warranty...someone smart tell me if I need that...

Believe it or not, in my experience from selling TV and audio equipment most people buying larger panel TV's aren't doing the home theater thing or integrating their audio and video. Or they have a receiver that doesn't have HDMI. I know it sounds crazy.

I have a great receiver that is a few years old that doesn't have HDMI inputs. It's just as easy to ask why my 6 year old LCD has 4 HDMI inputs and this one two, as it is to ask why people may not have a receiver that could compensate for the lack of HDMI inputs.

I have an HD DirecTV receiver and Apple TV. The Blu Ray player would be one more device than I could connect to this TV.
