AMAZON HAS CHANGED THEIR RETURN POLICY
Previously you could return for any reason for 30 days. Now you are responsible for return shipping (except in the case of manufacturer defect).
^User junml707, show us proof of this or step off.
Please cite to your source for this change in policy...as far as I can see, the policy remains the same.
"TVs shipped and sold by Amazon.com may be returned (via our Online Returns Center) up to 30 days from the date you receive the TV" - I don't see any qualifications anywhere on this page.
The part of the policy that changed is who pays for the return shipping. They will allow you to return it for 30 days, but, as I stated in my original post, you are responsible for return shipping. If the return is out of preference, you pay to ship it.
I considered biting on this deal, but was concerned about the consumer reports review that said this TV has a limited viewing angle. So I went to the same page that you linked below to confirm I could return it if I didn't like it. As you can see on their policy, it says you can return it, but no where in that link does it say who pays for shipping it back. So I called and spoke to them directly. They informed me that their policy changed as of 10/1/2012. Now, if there's nothing wrong with it, you can return it, but you pay the shipping. As for proof, give them a call. I assume they'll tell you the same thing they told me. - junml707
