Core i5-3570K is normally $230.
ASRock Z77 Pro3 + the 3570 being a K(Unlocked multiplier) is a great overclocker for the price. Also motherboard has an 8pin for the CPU 12volt power but if your power supply only has a 4 pin it will still work even without an adapter.

Also nice find! The extra 2 x SATA 6Gb/s ports, 2 x USB 2.0 , and extra PCI slot seems worth it for $5 more.

I picked up this CPU and the Z77 Extreme4 from Micro Center in Tustin on one of these combo deals about a month ago and have been very happy with the performance so far. The Asrock Z77 Extreme4 overclocks very easily and there's more than a few 5 egg reviews that say they got it up to 4.0-4.2 with air cooling and it ran great. I haven't taken that dive yet personally so I can't comment but only because I've been happy so far. If anybody is reading this and on the fence about which chip and board for their next upgrade, you won't regret jumping on one of these Asrock/i5 combos. The Extreme4 supports 2800 OC'd RAM too which is a plus for the enthusiast.

Yeah I know. We got 2 Fry's Electronics stores in the Phoenix metro area but their deals don't even come close to those of Microcenter except on a few rare occasions. This deal is ridiculous.

I bought the i5 with the gigabyte D3H board and 8gb of Patriot Viper memory from Fry's ($30 after mail in rebate) and a 128gb Plextor Sata3 SSD that I already had and it's running flawlessly.

They did last year before ivy bridge came out, I picked up a i5-2500k and asus z68 board for 220 +tax last year about 4th of july. It was 150 for the cpu and 120-50 for the MB. Been very happy with it. Can OC to 4.3 easy with a decent air cooler.
