Trust me - was having major VRM overheating issues when overclocking a 2500K on the Pro4, but didn't run into any issues overclocking a 3570K. |

I built my brother a photoshop box with this last time they offered it, very decent and it doesnt even need a graphics card or much wattage. I bought him a gtx 650 so I could game on it occasionally and it handles guild wars 2 maxed out at 1080 50+ fps average.

Nowadays, you get a dinky little 4 + 2 phase VRM (on the Pro4) that can barely handle 120-130W (OCed 2500K) without running home crying to mama. |

It's times like these I wish I had a micro center near me.
Just barely over $200 for a 3rd gen sandy bridge with mobo! Drop another $100 for 16-32gb of quad channel ram and you are set for another 2 years. Maybe need to update gpu in a year if it's not a 58/68/78xx or 47/57/67x or better. |
