Stand firm people, DON'T use OCZ, even if it's FREE...
They'll dick you over "some how"
Please refrain using foul language. I actually use two Vertex 4's one I am on right now and my laptop. I never had a problem with them and they are some of the best drives you can get right now. I know OCZ used to bad, but they have been fixing up there act lately with all the updates. I can vouch that this drive is one of the best one's I used.
Also note it has a 5 year warranty so if anything happens your covered if that makes any difference in your choice.
edit: btw look at benchmarks for the Vertex 4 on "anandtech" you will see it's one of the best SSD's you can get for speed.
My OCZ SSD failed with in 3 months, RMA'd for another drive then sold it on eBay then used the money to buy a Hitachi SSD and its been running run for the past 6 months, if you want to go through that hassle then by all mean give it a try but at your own risk
I would go with the Samsung SSDs, because they're cheaper. But their firmware updating software still does not support Macs, so Mac users have to use bootcamp just to update it. OCZ seems to be way more supportive of Mac users, so when I get an SSD, it will probably be from them.
