Dell is placing one (1) at a time in inventory(it appears) @ the EXACT Price listed , it is also keeping the Specs & the Condition Exactly the same on that Exact(1of 9) Priced Lap/Desktop.

For Example:
The price stated $925 (on several), must be Exactly $925, Not $926 & Not $924. The Specs will be Exactly the Same as Shown on the Sales listing & the Condition will also be Exactly the Same as Shown.

One Model of the nine (9) different Sale items is a Scratch&Dent, the rest are "Outlet" New, or Certified Reburbished, as stated in the Sale listing.

This is a Brand New sales format (I have never seen this) for Dell's Outlet, it appears it may have it's good & bad parts. Many of these models are Brand(Outlet) New, as Stated on the Sale page.

This sale goes until Nov 1st (or until supplies expire) so I'll presume they will keep adding inventory as they get it or "make it" one @ a time in each Category, with the next Exact avail model going up right after the prior is sold.
Right after I got my XP 13, they put another one up immediately(probably Dell's Sales computer setting{program}).
The 15R Special Editions(the "Beast"s) goes fast & seems the hardest to get so far.

Yes, they have that "Desk"/Laptop typo in 2 places & also they say the128 GB Dell Mobility Solid State Drive on the XPS 13 is a "128GB Hard Drive" EEK!

Not good proofing reading by Dell, but these were put up in the Middle of the Night. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Just to let folks know. I have the XPS 13 and it is a solid POS. Constant high pitched electrical noise, tap to click doesn't register every tap, fan vents are on the bottom so you can't really lay it on your bed, etc...

And some days the fan will run 75% of the time, and some days not. I have installed every driver and BIOS, etc...

I have heard a lot of people bitching about the tap to click and overall horrendous trackpad. Seems to be a common problem.

I love the fit and finish. Thing feels amazing, too bad they let a group mentally ill homeless men design and build it.

And oh yeah, the battery simply sucks.

LOL, not even freaking close. My mini was advertised at somewhere around the same battery life and gets pretty close to it.

I haven't done any extensive testing on the XPS, but screen completely dimmed down, power saver mode, etc... you might get somewhere in the ballpark of 4+

I just unplugged it and the battery, as usual, drops from 100% to 91% immediately, and registers 4 hours 28 minutes left, screen dimmed out. So I imagine the true battery life is somewhere around 4 hours. It's a freaking joke for an ultrabook.

My Mom has a 14z, I have a 1012, brother has an 11z, and I believe they can truly go unplugged all day (not 100% on the 11z, but I think). By all day I mean within reason of course. I have used the 14z and the 1012 on and off entire days without touching a plug.

The XPS13 is NOT an all day on the battery computer like so so many other laptops on the market these days. Not even close.

Dell fan boy for the better part of 2 decades and I think I will honestly never purchase another one. 3 out of the last 5 we have bought have had serious trackpad issues that have never been fixed. I'm thinking Lenovo maybe. Not sure yet.

I have had good luck with them, but I know that they have had a lot of problems so bad that they were forced into actual recalls.

What do you mean about XPS15 another shot? What was initially wrong?

I almost got that one, but it was missing something, I think a numeric key pad, I forget.

That's what I ultimately want. The smallest computer possible with a numeric keypad and back lit board.

I have an M14xR2 and a 15R, the M14 gets 6+ hours with the screen dimmed down and wifi on, and the 15R usually gets close to 4 in the same conditions. Dell battery life seems fine to me.
