The heat issue is very nonexistent, playing SC2 at max settings for 2 hours, I get 70C max on the CPU, and 65C on the graphics card which is very good for this kinda of hardware. Room temp is around 80F. Also the center of the lid is quite flimsy so be careful when you carry it in a backpack with alot of stuff.

This baby runs all day long overclocked and the GPU NEVER passes 75c. I love it. Just have it on a hard surface when you're gaming and you won't have any issues. This laptop has powerful hardware and needs proper ventilation.

All gaming laptops with a good GPU(650M or better) have heating issues since they run a hot GPU in a confirmed space. Dust and poorly designed vents make it worst.

I use a $12 200mm cooling fan tray to keep temps. in check. All gaming laptops should come with a good external cooling tray.
