0.3 MP camera kills this one for me. I suppose you would use it for skype and most connections wouldnt be able take advantage of more pixels (say, 1.3). but still....so little megapixels....

Granted, there IS a difference especially under heavy load. But for most people, it won't matter. ...but this laptop is still good for normal users (opposed to power users, gamers or enthusiasts) because of the significant boost in graphics performance compared to hd3000 (which will be noticeable, I believe). |

 If you are looking for better deals on the same specs laptop, the best price that came prior to this may have been $350-$400 for a Lenovo with student rebate deals in August>>http://slickdeals.net/f/5079390-L...D-Required. So @ $450 it's only $50 to $100 more than the best price point. I doubt a laptop with these specs will come any lower than $400 for the remainder of the year (including BF, Christmas, after Christmas)...unless rebates are involved, but anything is possible.... For those that want to play latest PC games on laptop, will have to look for more pricier options that include better graphic cards. But for most purposes the OP's deal is fine. Just recommended this laptop (TigerDirect) version to my mother-in-law a few days ago. From what I can tell it seemed like the best price/value and I've been an ASUS fan for years. It helps that TigerDirect doesn't charge sales tax for California residents..
