If your using the atv stricktly for AirPlay and the apps it does have on there then yeah it's fine but if your trying to jailbreak and get free streams the roku is quicker and honestly it still makes me want to keep my cable

I don't use any of the add-ins. I just use it for local media.

Not for me for local libraries. Add-ons are another story. And it is like that on all implementations of XBMC

I agree. ATV2 is great for using the core of XBMC. I hate all of the XBMC add-ons. They seem flaky on any system. It's not the ATV2's fault.

Try plex on ATV2. It's way smoother but it doesn't have all of the add-ons (namely slingbox).

Apparently some apps can control whether the contents in the app can be airplayed or not. While I have not used HBO or MAX, I did try the time warner cable app on my iPad and it specifically states Airplay is not supported when you try to do it.

Wait, but if you're already mirroring it, why would this be an issue? In other words, you can even mirror your homescreen, once you turn the app on wont that just keep going - or is video/audio completely another story?

Mirroring gets disabled when you try to mirror from the time warner app.

Would it be a waste to get an ATV if you have pc connected to your TV and you just download stuff anyway.

They report them as shipment lost or personal exchange + apple employee discount.
WHat that means, Apple ships the store a new item and the store keeps them only to report them as missing again and the cycle continues. Yet, the serials for both are reported as sold items(commission for sold items adding up to bonuses).

Or they do the switchero (Change serial numbers of new items with customer-returned items that need repair). As a result, both items, given to customer and "defective"(which in reality is an item that needs to be repaired) are active a not reported. A few days later, apple sends them a replacement for a defective product and the geniuses keep them to sell them online.

This is old news man lol
Even Gizmodo did an article on that after the fiasco of ebay iphones were reported as stolen
