I have lightroom four and for the most part, it was my first experience with the lightroom franchise. It was entirely foreign to me and I couldn't figure out the simplest things. I got a book from the library and suddenly it made a ton more sense. I'm not skilled with it yet, but I'm getting close to being able to get a result I want, so that's a plus.
My point is, that it is a great tool and much more powerful than something vastly simpler, but it will take some effort on your part. Having a great time and visiting family are mutually exclusive.

Great deal! However, I'm upgrading from LR 3 to LR 4 so the upgrade is still a better deal at $79.00. I've never seen the upgrade on sale - has anyone?
