Seriously, what is up with manufacturer using really crappy resolution with laptops that are otherwise nicely spec'd? If they are trying to catch up to Apple they are seriously doing it wrong. I really want to buy an ultrabook, but somehow PC makers managed to make just about all of their offerings worse value than MBA's.

am i the only one here that doesn't care about screen resolution ;v i run my desktop at 1024x768 even though i have a 1080p monitor

use thunderbolt --> DVI adapter, use native resolution of your external monitor when home. When using it out in the field, 1366 x 768 is fine.
