I like to use the ESET scanner too. But I visit the scanner page using Chrome. That way the scanner does not run but I'm allowed to download the scanner to my desktop and run it from there.

oh yes, i ran it for about 6 months earlier this year and then canned it.

Methinks you may have been installing incorrectly. I have Malwarebytes Pro installed on three machines, and they all work perfectly. I have them set up to remind me to update every week.
Each time I go to update, it simply works. All scans show negative infections. I only use their firewall; not the anti-virus.

Simply no other can match. Microsoft should have bought it long, long time ago, MSFT was so lax on the malware that it turned many users as enemy...

I didn't remember what the free software was, but value speaking, you get a better deal with the previous deal.

Besides, just checked and the review on the software was "outstanding" through Cnet.

Keep in mind this is Slickdeals. I'm just saying there was a better deal in the past, even though it may be a marginal difference depending on how you view the software.

Malwarebytes Pro automatically updates, provided you run it all the time and don't terminate the protection (you shouldn't).

Malwarebytes Free does not automatically update and only updates on-demand.
