You should replace McAfee with something. However, IMO, running no AV is better than CrapAfee.

Superantispyware consistently ranks at the very bottom in real time protection. MBAM usually ranks toward the top. Lots of people avoid using Superantispyware because of the actions provided by its developer (actually former owner/developer), such as claiming that the MRG test is fixed by MRG sending some vendors samples prior to tests so they can prepare signatures and achieve higher test scores. It's similar to the Comodo drama, some people don't mind it while others find it a real turn off.

That's the problem with the Wiki. Anyone can edit it. Somebody added their own opinion to my answer. I would disagree with james04. For the best protection you need multiple, complimenting products, not just one. Malwarebytes paired with Microsoft Security Essentials is pretty lightweight on system performance while balancing strong protection. I have edited the Wiki again.
