Reliability can be a crap shoot no matter what brand. I've owned both the M4 (2 of them) and a 830, my 830 died in 2 months while I've had no problems with the M4s. I did get a replacement (refurb) from Samsung within 4 days though, their RMA service is pretty fast, just wish I got a new one as a replacement though.

I thought Plextor was the best?

I use paypal to buy alot of things because i already have the cash in my paypal acct. from a website i run. All the money i make from the site is my play money i use to buy toys, etc.

I would suggest that you withdraw most of the money that comes into your paypal account and instead pay with a credit card. My amex (as well as some other cards) doubles the manufacturers warranty for up to 1 year. So assuming this Samsung drive already comes with a 1 year warrranty, simply paying with my Starwood Amex card will increase that to 2 years. No reason not to give that up by paying with paypal. Not to mention, if you pay with paypal and you ever have a problem with a vendor you need to resolve it with paypal...that is not fun. When you pay with a CC you just call them up and dispute the charge. I learned the hard way that's a lot better.

P.S. And I forgot about the best thing about using my Amex....Starpoints!

this drive has a 3 yr. warranty, that would not be doubled using my chase card. If i were buying a TV i would definitely do that. Yes, i know about the warranty stuff using a Chase signature, dont think all CC co.'s do this though.
I never had a problem with paypal. For me paypal works great, i have customers buy from my site, and i can transfer the money to my bank acct. any time i want.

Careful. If any one of your customers complains about you to PayPal your money may be automatically frozen. In many cases they have wiped out entire merchant balances and pocketed the cash. It only takes one. It's sort of like keeping your life savings in your car - sure you'll be fine 99% of the time. It's the 1% you'll regret. Of course it's your choice how you protect your money, just know that people who are aware of PayPal practices are trying to protect you. They are not bound to laws that banks are. Your balance is not safe. I'd recommend that you appreciate the good advice you've been given...
