wasn't there a lot of issues with this camera? Forums say s95 is better than the s100.

I have a Canon 300 HS where the lens would not retract after very light use that I bought during BF. It's never been to the beach since I read all the horror stories about a speck of sand causing this. Happened anyway.
Fortunately it was under the 1 year warranty. Submitted the claim to Canon and they sent me a refurb one with all the accessories. |

saw this deal as well. If you look at this seller's ebay store, you'll see another exact listing of Canon S100 for $368 or something like that... I emailed to ask them what the difference between the 2 listings. I wanna buy but very worried and cautious about the warranty thing. best to just wait for amazon to drop their prices.
