Compiling candy deals in bulk

30 cents/ounce?? that works out to $4.80/pound. I have been buying single bags from our local grocery stores at $1.66 to $2.00/bag, with the bags varying between 11-12.5 ounces. that works out to $2.00 per pound. Am I missing something here?

It's in store. You need a membership number to print the coupons at home, and you need a membership to buy in store, or pay 5% fee.

I understand that the sole purpose of slickdeals is to be cheap, but use this network to find quality candy at a great price, not just crap at .01 per unit! Don't cheapen Halloween by giving out mini Tootsie Rolls and organic lollipops. When I used to trick or treat, I went out with a group of friends and a pillow case, and came home with lasting memories and enough candy to give me stomachaches for a month. Think back to your best Halloween, and then go out and make that happen for the next generation! Don’t be the SOB that gives out off brand suckers and pocket lint!

I will be giving out 50 king-sized and 100 regular sized candy bars for the third straight year! I was able to get the king-sized bars for $.70 each at my local grocery store on sales, and the regular bars for about $.30 each in the variety boxes at Costco. Do it right, or shut off your outside light, and start decorating for Thanksgiving!

I go to Kroger and get store brand cans of fruit punch, lemonade, and ice tea. Every year I hear the kids going "It's the house with the pop. (soda) The kids love it because they get thirsty running from house to house. About 10 cents a can- non carbonated= no deposit. And so far, none of them litter. About 90 munchkins a year.

It would be good if there were some in-store deals combined with coupons. I only saw one from BJ's but there is no BJ for me (seriously, none in a while)

Was just about to pull the trigger on the swedish fish! Then someone made me paranoid and I had to do the per pound math. Damn its $4.56 a lb! Hmmm wonder if thats good.
