Good price if you have a store around.
It's ironic that they are comparing the price to Microcenter. They should match the $50 off motherboard from Microcenter if they really want to compete. No one knows what it's like... to be the bad man... to be the sad man...

good deal if you are upgrading from sandy bridge and already have a mobo, for the other 90% of the people microcenter deal is better.

Take a look at its position on this heirarchy chart: http://www.tomshardware.com/revie...107-7.html I played guild wars 2 with everything turned down at 1080 and got mid 30s-40 fps on just integrated graphics on the 3570k with everything stock. I would much rather spend it on a i3 2100, and grab an $80 GPU and run it on med-high settings at 50+ fps smoothly. For most everyday use out there, the i3 2100 or something equivalent can handle without a sweat....(or super elevated temps in this case  )

I'm very happy with my i5 3570k overclocked to 4.2Ghz on air w/o issues, HD 4000 gives me a WEI of 6.9 for 3D/Desktop performance and 7,550 3DMark'06, no bad for integrated GFX. The whole system only consumes about 40 watts while idle, a big difference from my old AMD X6 setup @ 110 Watts.
