Good deal. Right after their iOS 6 glitch and on the heels of new Slingbox SKUs. Now if only they'd update it for the iPhone 5...

Just an FYI.
Make sure you check if your Slingbox is supported for the iPad app. Only Slingbox Solo / Slingbox HD will support streaming at the higher resolutions. Great deal though. Thumbs/Reps Last edited by Dealwitch; 10-09-2012 at 04:22 PM.. Reason: self-policing my own grammer |

I refused to pay $30 each for these so I made up my mind that I would dump slingbox and get a TiVo Stream, now they go on sale and am torn on what to do.
Anyone have experience with TiVo Stream? Never mind, I see the Stream only streams within the home network. Last edited by HakFoo; 10-09-2012 at 04:36 PM.. |

I currently have the iPhone version but would also like to get the iPad HD version. My only concern is that there are new slingboxes that are about to come out and I'm wondering if they are planning on releasing new iOS apps to coincide with it.

I'm wondering the same thing. Sling is notorious for milking it's customers. For example...$30 for an Android 2.3 version and then $30 for a 4.0 version? Please.
Torn on getting it since I'm getting an iPhone this month. I guess it doesn't matter since my Slingbox HD is only sending via coax and in standard video.
