![]() And I don't have important information in there, just too much stuff that I wouldn't want to change it. Either way, it should be my choice on how secure I prefer my settings to be. I have other emails for my important info like cc's and bank info and those are not stored on yahoo. |

You double click on the email #1 icon, then double click on the #2 email icon, then you double click on the email #3 icon. What is that? 5 seconds max? Or are you talking about the extreme effort and time consumption of making a shortcut to the email accounts? 2 seconds for each one? Surely you're not referring to have to sign into them once, as you do that every single time, whereas the way I suggested, you'd sing in once, and never again. Or maybe you don't have three internet browsers and you have to download one? OK. 1 minute's worth of effort. On your best day and your best machine, there's no way you could get all three YahooMail accounts open any faster than what I suggested. |

With a little extra effort you can secure yourself and make you a much less of a target to loose an account, even if it's not important. Vague questions receive vague answers . . . . . .

![]() Also to note, his comments saying it was clearly his fault for using the same passwords. "In many ways, this was all my fault. My accounts were daisy-chained together. Getting into Amazon let my hackers get into my Apple ID account, which helped them get into Gmail, which gave them access to Twitter. Had I used two-factor authentication for my Google account, it’s possible that none of this would have happened, because their ultimate goal was always to take over my Twitter account and wreak havoc. Lulz."

You the OP had asked for help, so the people in this thread are trying to help your situation. You don't need to defend your position of a lack luster concern for security and privacy, that's just being part of the mass of society. Even if your email account is unimportant, my guess is its worth this small bit of extra effort to secure it. |
