Just received this in the mail, Honda is extending all warranty for 06-10 for "crows feet" defect in the hood & fenders. I had this problem with my Honda a few years ago and Honda would not cover the defect because they said this wasn't a manufacture problem.

Anyways, if you own a dark color honda and experienced this issue, time to get your car repainted!

Nice! Now, I'm waiting for the letter for the 06-09 Civic Hybrids where Honda takes full responsibility for faulty battery packs and replaces them for free!

I think those years already have an extended warranty on a cracking engine block or something. Might as well extend it on the whole car now. Can't recommend hondas anymore. Not just reliability, but their styling looks like they switched places with gm designers of the 90s, and now the domestics have better styling.

couldn't agree more and i own all imports and daily drive a subaru Sti Embarrassment

i had a Chevy Cruise rental for a couple of days and im now a firm believer that the domestics have a product worth owning.

I took that car and put it thru its paces on hwy1 around sharp hair pins and fast switch backs and the car was just a pleasure to operate.

its little turbo motor is more then capable of delivering power, the transmission was kept in auto mode and was never caught in the wrong gear while the suspension was perfect at keeping the car stable. then add in all the standard features, and Honda and Toyota start looking dated Stick Out Tongue

Since then i have recommended friends and family in the market for a new car to 1st check out the Chevy lineup and compare it to everything else EEK!

Damn, I have a crack/chip on my hood but it's dark gray so I'm thinking it's not eligible. Thought I was about to get a free paintjob.

Do you forgive a thief if he apologizes and returns some-what equivalent good, that was yours to begin with? Only if he's Honda, apparently. Still loving that VTEC power.

Come back in 10 years and let us know how it worked out for you and the people you recommended them to.
