Damn I don't know what to do. I have a $100 gift card burning a hole in my pocket and I was all set on getting the 50 inch LG for $450 at Fry's. Is this one worth $450 more?

Cheapest I found was at Tigerdirect for $850 shipped and that was posted last month.

i purchased the 55LM6200 for 799 at tiger direct and sent it right back 5 days later the picture was awful can you say motion blur big time i will never bye another lg just remember lg stands for the old gold star at kmart

I just bought the LG LM6400 (47 inch one) from BJs last night for $799. Its basically the same model but it has local dimming as well which I believe can be turned on in the settings. The motion blur isn't bad on this TV, but for games you will NEED to play in GAME mode or you will have issues with input lag.
Also, I wouldn't order an LM model online as I bought two from Costco a month ago, both had terrible light bleed and uniformity issues so be warned, I bought the third one from BJs becuase I really wanted this TV to work out and third time was a charm! The screen is pretty glossy, but the picture is very nice especially after setting it up with the Disney WOW blu ray. For $900, this TV is a steal. Also, don't forget that if you can get into the service menu (google it) then you can turn on local dimming making this the same as my TV the LM6400 |
