Microsoft DOES NOT offer any pre-order bonuses (besides the MS points/card).. Call them up and ask for yourself.

Is this the best deal out there? I'm still on the fence.

Regarding the Nuketown thing. This is what EA and Activision have been doing for a while: They include a "code" with the game. The first runs of the game, which are essentially the pre-orders or even same-day purchases, include the code. Subsequent copies the code is omitted.

So essentially, as long as you get one of those copies (which are the first to ship out) you'll get the code, regardless of where it is purchased from.

Amazon even says it is included in the game packaging. It's not like they are publishing several different copies of the same game packaging exclusively for certain retailers, from a business sense that's just stupid (unless they're compensated for it as a promotion by the retailer). Just my .02 cents.

Quick question I have credit on amazon so I want to pick the game up there but I also want these points and the $10 credit So I wanted to know If there was anything stopping me from returning The MS copy to say a Wal Mart Like do they send it open or will the bar code not scan? Ive never bought from the MS store before.

There looks to for sure be preorder bonuses for Forza Horizon and Halo 4 so dont be so sure of that.

My point was not that Amazon has it. My point was Amazon is stating the code is in the actual box meaning that more than likely it will be inside the box of every first run copy of the game. Which means that every retailer that gets the game will have it.

I spoke to two different customer support reps.. it does not come with it. I may just call again to add a 3rd to this post because you're too lazy to call for yourself and ask.

I hope it does come with it so you can search for this message on launch day and write me back with "i told you so".

I've done all my MS preorders in store since they started this deal and I've pre-ordered and picked up about 4 games. For the last 3 games I've picked up at the store they just took the 10 coupon off the preorder i was picking up. Pretty sweet because I don't have to worry about holding on to a bunch of small GCs in addition to my 1K giftcard I won with the Windows Phone challenge Total comes out to about $45 after tax.

Great! How about betting 1600 points? I'm getting them free with the game, and it wouldn't hurt to double down on the points while playing Nuketown 2025 multiplayer.

I called Microsoft CS and the guy said he wasn't 100% sure because Nuketown was not written anywhere. He said "I am not 100% sure, but you most likely will be getting it based on the research I did".

I googled it, and someone on CAG reported that they got the "all star code" for nba 2k13 from the MS Store when it was not listed. YMMV. Buy it for what is listed. If you get a nuketown map as well, the deal is just that much sweeter. If not, you weren't (or shouldn't have been) expecting it anyways so no harm done.
