Wifi gets blocked by your hand. Had to return it because of this.

It's a good deal, but not super hot. I would wait for Black Friday and you will probably get a new one for around $150, instead of a refurb for $170. No guarantees, but it seems that tablets will be a popular BF item.

Yeah, definitely come here for the uninformed posts about 8 gigs of apps and a tablet having an SSD...

edit: unless you're downloading the "library of congress" app, I think the average person is safe.

1-2GB GPS apps, offline apps, 3D games will fill a 8GB SSD in no time. Offline apps will be used often since this a wifi-only device with a good gps signal.


How is this uniformed?

I've got this tablet (MicroCenter sale for $199 a few months back) and it's not bad. Plus's over Nexus 7 are Micro SD slot along with IR blaster (along with a remote IR application built-in). It's also got front and back cameras.

On the negative side, Nexus has better screen (more resolution) and faster processor along with Jelly Bean (not sure Samsung will update Galaxy Tab from Ice Cream Sandwich).

I do figure the price may drop to under $150, more like a BF thing (or if iPad Mini is competatively priced).

Just my thoughts, but think price will drop in coming months.

The lenovo outlet had a doorbuster sale on lenovo 10 inch k1 and thinkpad tablets with dual core and 16 to 32gb .
