Hard Drive: +$10 750GB 7200rpm Hybrid Hard Drive

This is the cheapest I have seen this laptop. $50 cheaper than the Envy 15 that is being advertised on the Microsoft Store.
The Envy 15 in the Microsoft Store comes with the CPU and Memory and Hard Drive upgrades, however. That will add $170 to the price of this laptop, coming out to $1119. However a big difference is the GPU. The Envy 15 only comes with the AMD 7750M. The Envy 17 comes with the AMD 7850M. Read comparisons here: AMD 7750M [notebookcheck.net] vs. AMD 7850M [notebookcheck.net]. The Envy 17 also comes with a Blu Ray player, while the 15 does not.
And the difference in form factor, of course.
[edit] For those interested, the HP Envy 17 3D is also on sale for $1049. See the thread here: http://slickdeals.net/f/5319118-H...AC-LOADED? If you upgrade the HP Envy 17 to the same specifications as the HP Envy 17 3D, the HP Envy 17 ends up costing $50 more. However, the HP Envy 17 3D apparently will not switch from the AMD 7850M graphics to the Intel 4000 HD graphics, causing a substantial reduction in battery life.
