can someone explain to me how this is even close to a good deal? I am paying over 50 for jeans

I'm not going to order online. Was just in a store the other day and one 32/32 was too short and too tight, the other of the same size and series number fit just right.

meh, lukewarm with the shipping. Good price if there was a free ship around. You can pick up Levis around this price any time you want at the outlet.

Might be good deal for some. I used to buy 569s and couple years ago they changed the measurements without changing the number. Never Levi's again. Moved on to Luckys.

This is sadly not true with Levi's. I used to love their 507 (low-rise slim boot), then they discontinued it about a year ago, and once their Outlet stores stopped stocking them, I decided to try the 527 (billed only as bootcut). Turns out, some of the 527's are bootcut, and some are slim boot (pretty much identical to the previous 507). The labeling on them is inconsistent as well, with the newer ones actually being called "slim boot" and the (I guess) older stock just being "boot".

I bought a few pairs of 527s from their Outlet store in the beginning of summer, and they were slim boot. Then the ones I ordered from them online a couple months ago were regular boot, but they made no distinction on the site (and didn't offer an alternative slim boot).

CSB, I know. But just saying you may want to beware. I only buy them in-store now and actually try them on.

Broke down and ended up buying a pair of 511s in scraped neppy wash. Frustrated that I can't get 30 or 40% off Made In the USA though. Still waiting, maybe Black Friday will hook me up. Also they need to bring back the 597. First world problems.
