How to exclude keywords from SD search
In google I can type a "-" sign to the front of a keyword to signify that I want to exclude results with that word. For example, I can search "apple -iphone" and it will give me tons of apple results but exclude the ones pertaining to iphones. Is it possible to do this with SD searches as well? I looked through all the Advanced Features but didn't see anything like this.
I believe I've found the solution to obesity in America. Hemispherectomy....no one uses it anyway.

What I do is go to Advanced Search, under "Additional Search Options" and "By Username", I type the user's name (and I did verify it was spelled correct). If I click search (leaving the search field blank), it displays all the posts by that user. However, when I add the "-retired" to the search field to attempt to remove a particular thread, it yields 0 results. And I've tried with various keywords, etc...all 0 results.
