Any opinion about this laptop? It's below my budget. It does lack some stuff but looks like a good bang for the buck at this price? Or keep looking?
Looks pretty good for the price. You can even throw in a Samsung 256GB SSD for ~$160 if u want to make it even faster. Otherwise, if you wanted to wait a few months, many people are expecting these to drop around $100-120 mark after BF/Xmas.
I believe I've found the solution to obesity in America. Hemispherectomy....no one uses it anyway.
If you are still looking, the Dell Business Outlet has a new coupon out that is 25% off any "new arrivals" in the outlet. Here is a decent system I found - the outlet price is $849.00 but after the 25% off coupon the pretax price is $636.36 which includes a 3 year on-site warranty.

Come Black Friday - Cyber Monday and beyond, I find Asus, Dell, HP, Sony, Toshiba, well the whole smash of vendors. Read specs and pick and choose which one suits you the best.
Which one of these brands usually has webcam as an option? It seems Dell has webcams built-in on all of them. I'm looking for a cheap laptop with NO webcam. This is for security reasons. Will be using it strictly for travel for personal use. Looks like HP has the option, but not Dell. Not sure about those others yet. Will wait for Black Friday... hopefully by then Windows 8 will be pre-installed as well. Although I'm sure Windows 7 laptops will be down in price. Any advice would be appreciated.
It was the bottom of the barrel, and I was scraping it.
