2 gallons is alot to order. I got some extra virgin coconut oil at trader joes for 5.99 for 16oz. Great for popcorn!

You cant beat ELF, especially when something's on sale and you use the rawbrahs discount.

FYI, if your local costco carries it, their deal is smokin! 78oz of Nutiva Organic for $22.. In Washington, there's no tax on food, so it's just over 28 cents/oz out the door!

True, but $55 for the privilege. Some states don't carry it (haven't seen it at mine yet). Gas. Time. And who LIKES going to Costco?

Since when? Use? It's a food. Who "uses" food?

When food companies take oils and chemically alter them via hydrogenation, the create plastic, not food. Transfat is closer to plastic than food chemically. This is true with coconut, soy, palm, cottonseed, and on and on. The only controversy regarding eating the stuff has to do with a massive, yet unsuccessful PR campaign to villainize saturated fat(s) and trick people into buying into the Diet-Heart Hypothesis by making normal, healthy saturated fats (which coconut oil is) seem like plastic fats (which this is not).

Since that's all rubbish, please return to your regularly awesome SD on a very high quality food already in progress....

I was not threadcrapping. I was asking a legitimate question to people in the know, and I thought someone might want to help me learn about healthy foods. Why are you trying to belittle me, and make me sound like an as**ole.
